Welcome to Douglas County's Stormwater Information Station

This informational kiosk is part of Douglas County’s effort to provide stormwater information to citizens.  Funding for the kiosk is provided through a grant from the Nebraska Environmental Trust (NET).  

The Federal Clean Water Act requires us to address stormwater runoff with the goal of improving the quality of our creeks, lakes, and rivers.  But really, isn't having cleaner water just the right thing to do? 

This display provides some quick links to information on storm water and what you can do to reduce stormwater runoff and pollution in our creeks, lakes, and rivers.
